The short version
3 years in the making, Jack Elliott Hobbs has been hard at work on his second album. Riddled with setbacks, the album has finally found a way to completion. The EP acts as the concise version of the record, taking an array songs from the album and summarising the core story.
"The EP is a concise version of the album, in the same way short film is a concise version of a feature film."
As an idol of band Elbow's Guy Garvey, Jack took inspiration from the cover of his solo album 'Courting the Squall' and presented it to photographer Hannah Couzens.
"Hannah captured the exact shot I was after"
The profile angle of the shot and simple lighting are reminiscent of Jack's logician personality.
