I've been going through a very challenging time mentally. I began psychotherapy two years ago and it has brought up (as it is designed to) a vast amount of personal history for me to re-evaluate. I am learning to live in the moment. Yes, plan, but I all too often find myself missing out on what is in front of me, as I'm too busy worrying about what I have to do tomorrow.
So, this brings me to my 'new name', new website and what I want to get up to from this point forward. Music has and always will be a huge part of my life. Jacket Records, Jacket Studios, my management work with Hope is all still going, and moving steadily forward I might add. But it is the capture and recording of stories using technology that I am so interested in. Sharing people's stories through Photography, Filmmaking, Music, Sound Recording. You name it. If it's a new gadget that can record stuff. I'm interested. No idea where I got that from... I leave you with my latest work. 'My Hometown'. I went for a day out in St Albans with the mindset of a tourist. 'Think like someone who's never been here before'. Since my tour of Iceland in April. I've realised that I spent a lot of money to travel somewhere people live. Just like I live in St Albans. They know it. Just like I know St Albans. So why do we travel? New experiences? I bet there are plenty of things you haven't experienced just down the road. Categories All Archives
